Plate Bending & Contouring Device

SURTEX® Plate Bending & Contouring Devices assist doctors to perform bone surgeries. Surgeons use the device to reshape plates in order to fit around bones and repair fractures properly. In order to bend a plate, the surgeons grasp and bend parts of it according to their needs. This allows the plate to fix in place and stabilizes the bones until healing occurs.
Therefore, we designed the SURTEX® Plate Bending & Contouring Devices with a long handle in order to enhance your force and dexterity. Moreover, the handle has a spindle grip to prevent slips and hand strain.
The heavy joint allows you to apply force for an efficient plate bending action, and the the screw assembly enables the operator to modify the distance between the jaws. In addition, the flat base of the device grants stability and balance.
We made the device with a slender shaft so you can see the working tips clearly for accurate manipulations. We also offer other devices to bend wires and hardware like K-wire benders to fit a wide variety of approaches. You can use these tools to suit every patient’s needs.
